Bio
Adama Roamba is a Burkinabe director and Film and TV producer. He first trained at the national TV of Burkina Faso, before going on to assist filmmakers such as Raymond Tiendrebéogo, Issa Traoré de Brahima, Dany Kouyaté, Gaston Kaboré and Issiaka Konaté. He directed his first documentary « REFLET D'UNE VIVACITE CULTURELLE » in 1994, and his first fiction short, « YANGO », in 1995. He then made the first short film in his trilogy, « GARBA », in 1999, followed by « MOUKA » in 2000 and « SOURCE D’HISTOIRE », Best short film winner at the 2003 FESPACO. Adama has since directed 3 feature films and several TV series broadcast on national and Panafrican channels.
