Bio

Bruno MOURRAL is a Haitian filmmaker. After a scientific A-Level in Port-au-Prince where he was born, he studied management in Bordeaux then film making in Paris. In 2007, he returned to Haiti, where he created MUSKA GROUP, which produced advertising films for the Caribbean market, then MANINHAT in Manhattan, with which he won several professional distinctions (notably for a Coca Cola campaign). Passionate about cinema, he co-founded Muska Films in 2015 and directed his first medium-length film in 2017, Kafou. Bruno MOURRAL has been directing MALATCHONG since 2019, a dark comedy inspired by the ongoing kidnappings phenomenon in Haiti. Since 2020, he has been developing RUE DORVAL, a scathing social comedy, with his actor Jen Samuel André and his producer Gilbert Mirambeau Jr. as co-writers, with Muska Film as coproducers as well as BHM Films, Promenades Films, Peripheria and Canal Plus.
