Bio
Chloé-Aïcha BORO is a Franco-Burkinabé writer and filmmaker. After studying modern literature, she worked as a journalist in Burkina Faso for several magazines and newspapers (La Voix du Sahel, Le Marabout) then as assistant director and presenter for TV Koodo and Radio Gambidi. In 2017, she received the Best Documentary Film Award at the Vues d'Afrique Festival in Montreal for her feature film “FRANCE - AU REVOIR, THE NEW TRIANGULAR TRADE". In 2019, "LE LOUP D’OR DE BAOLÉ" was shown at FIPADOC in Biarritz, before being awarded the Gold Standard for Documentary at FESPACO, the highest distinction for an African documentary. In 2021, Aïcha BORO will complete the development of two feature films, the documentary “DJANAT” and the feature “PRESIDENT BABA” (also available in series).
