Né le 1er janvier 1975, Bawa KADADE RIBA est enseignant de profession. Il participe à plusieurs formations et rencontres cinématographiques avant d’obtenir un Master 2 en réalisation documentaire au Sénégal (Saint-Louis). Il réalise en 2018 « ETINCELLES » son premier long métrage documentaire. Depuis 2020 il développe « TCHÉKANDA, LES GENS D'AILLEURS » un documentaire dans lequel il tente de comprendre la métamorphose de Dosso (Niger), une ville en pleine mutation.
