Bio

Achille Ronaimou is a self-taught screenwriter and film director from Chad. He first started his career as an actor. He participated in various writing residencies and workshops such as Ouaga FilmLab and Sud Écriture. Achille directed three short films selected in many festivals. DIA, his first feature, produced by Faissol Gnonlonfin (Benin), was awarded the « Cinéma du monde / Institut Français » grant at the Ouaga Film Lab 2017 , to take part in « La Fabrique des Cinémas du Monde » hosted by the Institut Français during the Cannes Film Festival in 2018.
