Bio

Badara Alou Dembelé is a Malian director, screenwriter, and film editor. Born into a film family, he studied in Bamako, Ghana, and Malaysia. He started his audiovisual career in Kuala-Lumpur in 2010 and then returned to Mali to work in advertising, in all disciplines (artistic direction, strategy, writing, directing, production, community management). He joined Banko production and Toumani Sangaré in 2019, as screenwriter and director of the series KANTE & KONATE. Alou Dembelé speaks three languages, namely, Bambara, French, and English. He has already worked as an interpreter using these languages.
