Synopsis
Mboa Matanda is a beautiful city where the Crab and the Caiman districts have been fighting for centuries. General Dibombè, bloodthirsty and merciless, wants to confront his enemy at all costs since his family’s assassination. During an ultimate naval battle, his ship is destroyed and the latter is caught by Jengu, the god of sea. Jengu asks him to look after the two districts’ pacification without any blood drop in exchange of his family’s resurrection. Back to the surface, Dibombè has to face several obstacles: his warrior nature, and his community’s lack of understanding. After he has convinced the Mboa Matanda’s patriarchs to propose a truce to the two districts, the idea to organize a Besua wrestling tournament (traditional wrestling practiced in the Sawa community) between the two districts is suggested as an alternative to the war. But right in the middle of the tournament, general Dibombè will find himself in the heart of an unexpected event.
