Synopsis

Rose and Richard make a seemingly successful and well-off couple, with a sports car and a villa in the wealthy neighbourhood of Cocody. Yet an audit at Richard’s company soon casts a shadow on the perfect picture. Like many of his peers, Richard often makes profit for himself, overcharging at the expense of the state. In the face of trouble, the couple decides to resort to a somewhat unconventional kind of help : they put their fate into the hands of an alluring witch-doctor : the charismatic Marabout Chéri. Marabout Chéri who seems to help them at first, soon invades their home and privacy, eventually threatening the very existence of the couple.
