Bio

Sorel AGBODEMAKOU was born on March 8, 1983, in Cotonou. After a secondary education diploma in science, he studied medicine before discovering his true passion, cinema. Creative and self-starter, Sorel has a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in film and television production from the Higher Institute of Audiovisual Professions (ISMA). He supplemented his training with screenwriting workshops before becoming interested in film and audiovisual production itself. In 2018, he created a production company called Tinwé films. We can cite among his leading achievements, the series "Cœurs errants" selected at the Fespaco in 2015 or his short film "Homeless" selected at the international festival of Namur, which made him known on the international level. He is now a screenwriting workshop teacher.
