Bio
Nantenaina Lova was born in 1977 in Madagascar. He grew up in Antananarivo in a modest family and graduated from a public high school. He studied sociology and humanitarianism in France, then worked as a journalist in his country before joining the Toulouse Cinema School (ESAV). In 2007, he created “Endemika Films”, a company specializing in documentary cinema. His first feature film “ADY GASY, THE MALAGASY WAY” (2014) was released in theaters in France and sold 15,000 tickets. In November 2020, "ETOILE DU MATIN" (MORNING STAR) was in the official feature film competition at the IDFA in Amsterdam. At the start of 2021 he was filming his third feature documentary “SITABAOMBA / SOUTE A BOMBES”, supported by Hot Docs (Toronto) and WCF (Berlinale).
