Bio
Born in Beyrouth and brought up in France, Askia Abdoulaye Traoré, a Chadian director has started off in the film industry as a programmer in a film theatre in Lyon (Ciné Duchère) before joining producer-director Issa Serge Coelo (Parenthèse Films) in paris in the early 2000. He has taken part In the production of numerous African films for 10 years alongside directors such as Souleymane Cissé, Idrissa Ouedraogo, Mahamat Saleh Haroun, Alain Gomis, Abderrahmane Sissako, Jihane El Tahri.
He has directed two short Films, NOLA and NULLE PART (Nowhere), and MAMI WATA is set to be his first feature
