Description
Created in 1993, Avalon was first highly involved in short films before expanding to feature films and TV dramas. Led by Philippe Braunstein (producer and founder) and Axel Guyot (producer), Avalon has created an eclectic pool of authors ranging from comedy to auteur films. It has multiplied its partnerships, with Gaumont and Canal + on Pop Redemption, by Martin Le Gall, or with Orange Studio on Tijuana Bible, by Jean-Charles Hue, for example, and has been producing for ten years with France Télévisions Vestiaires, a 40x3' mini-series. For the past five years, Avalon has been diversifying internationally, particularly in Africa, where it has produced two feature films with Orange Studio and TV5 Monde. Loyalty to the authors, an open editorial line and great attention to the writing are the main principles of this human-sized production. LE GRAND ÉCART, by Sophie Maurer & Gabriel Puertas, and NEW FACE, by Louis Aubert, are the two series in development for 2020-2022.
