Bio
Congolese filmmaker, David Douglas MASAMUNA lives in Lubumbashi (DRC). After a degree in Economic Sciences at the University of Lubumbashi, he began his real passion, filmmaking, by first learning computer techniques, then training in scriptwriting at the CIFAP in Kinshasa, in documentary filmmaking at the FEMIS in Paris and in Belgium at the AKDT. He founded the association DL Multimédia ASBL, a structure specialised in audiovisual and multimedia research and production. Douglas MASAMUNA has several strings to his bow, he is a director, producer, cameraman, editor, scriptwriter but also trainer. In 2013, he directed "KINSHASA MBOKA TE" a documentary selected in many international festivals (Namur, New York...). Since 2019 he has been developing with Denis MPUNGA and GABEL Idriss "YOLO" a science fiction feature film set in the DRC in 3030.
