Bio

Benjamin Guéniot is a Reunionese writer-director. He has been working in the Indian Ocean area of Madagascar and surrounding islands for 15 years, directing TV series for local channels, advertising films and short films. His most recent short, SIMP RAPID (2018) has been selected in several international festivals. It was his second short film produced by the "Evil Ways Productions" company. He is currently developing his first feature film, SIVANA, produced by ACIS Productions. Guéniot received writing and development funding from the Reunion region in 2020.
