Bio
Born in Paris in 1985, Samantha BIFFOT is a French Gabonese director, scriptwriter, and producer. She grew up between Gabon, France, South Korea, and South Africa. She graduated from ESRA (major: film editing) in 2007 and worked for 4 years as a production assistant in Paris. In 2010, she returned to Gabon to found Princesse M Productions with Pierre-Adrien CECCALDI. For the past ten years, she wrote, directed, and co-produced films and series that are regularly awarded and bought by TV5 and Canal+. L'ŒIL DE LA CITÉ, best series at FESPACO 2013; "L'AFRICAIN QUI VOLAIT", selected in many festivals; "BOXING LIBREVILLE", of which she wrote the script for Amédée Pacôme NKOULOU, won Best Documentary at FIDADOC-Agadir and in Tarifa. In 2021, Samantha BIFFOT will finish "MAMI WATA", the first African fantasy series in long format (52'), co-produced with CANAL+.
