Created in 2019 by Fred Fontes, Blue Tree Production is a company that started with eclectic video productions (events, advertising, music, etc...). At the same time, the production of documentaries started to become the company's priority. So Marcel Melto joined Fred and the two decided to go against the current trend in Vanuatu and focus on films with a social view and showing contemporary Vanuatu through the stories of common people. Their first film together, Stamba blo Fridom, gives voice to those people who have never been able to speak publicly about the most important page in their country's history: independence. Blue Tree Production is a young company that hopes to produce many quality documentaries from various local directors by offering them the best conditions to carry out their projects.
